Nebraska Court Docket is a private reference service, not a clerk's office or court contact desk. Official records, current settings, and certified copies come from the court that holds the case. Nebraska's statewide JUSTICE search can help locate trial matters, while the County Court and District Court clerks keep the underlying files. Use the routes below to choose the right official source. If a question concerns a particular case, the county listed on its citation or court notice is the best starting point for locating the clerk.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. Nebraska Court Docket is privately run. It cannot retrieve an official file, change a hearing, remove or seal a court entry, issue a certified copy, or advise on a case. Those tasks belong to the court or clerk that holds the record.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

For an official Nebraska case or document, use the appropriate court channel:

  • A statewide trial-case lookup: use Nebraska Judicial Branch eServices, which routes public users to JUSTICE through Nebraska.gov
  • A hearing date: check the Court Schedule and confirm a changed or urgent setting with the court that issued the notice
  • A full Register of Actions or file: contact the County Court Clerk, Clerk Magistrate, or District Court Clerk that holds the record through Browse Counties
  • A certified copy: request it from the clerk for the court that holds the case; the county directory provides the local route
  • Appellate case information: use SCCALES for the Nebraska Supreme Court or Court of Appeals, not the trial-court index

JUSTICE is a statewide index, but Nebraska's local clerk holds the official trial-court file and issues certified copies. For a formal record request or an older paper file, contact that court directly. This hub does not operate a statewide records counter.
